Chapter 118) A Windenburg Wedding

“Never marry the one you can live with, marry the one you cannot live without.”

The month of June proved to be a month of celebration for the Cameron family.

Averie and Jamie had looked at several dozens of wedding venues and not fallen in love with any of them, which is how the idea was born to celebrate it in the place they both loved so much. Their home, the Cameron Estates.

While immersed in wedding planning – the entire family had been recruited to help – the idea was born to make it a double-wedding. Jenna was game and once more in their lives the twins would experience a big day together, as so many times before. Birth, first day of school, first love, first dance, prom, high school and college graduations, college time, …

And then the big day came.

The decorations had turned out perfect, the often moody weather cooperated and even afforded them a beautiful sunset for the afternoon ceremony.

Maeve played the wedding march beautifully, while Everett helped out on the microphone, direction the guests.

Saying the vows beneath the trees both couples carved their initials into as a token of love for all eternity.

A + J … Averie + Jamie

J + J = Jenna + Jordan

Averie and Jamie had the cutest little ring bearer

Little Liam may be a rambunctious ham, but took this job very seriously.

The bridal table. Averie and Jamie and Jordan and Jenna

Bristol is a city girl through and through, but even she had lots of fun.

Liam wants some “uncwle Bwaine”. Yes, he calls him that even though he isn’t really his uncle.

Jenna’s family, the O’Connors, Everett and Maeve joined them. Not sure what Jenna’s dad could have said that evoked this reaction from Everett. The fiery hair belongs to Jocelyn Hyde O’Connor, young wife of Jenna’s older brother Gavin. She is currently expecting his triplets.

Averie’s family was joined by Declan and Rory, and occasionally the minister. The twins’ father Declan and Averie’s father Chad are old friends from high school. The pregnant girl is Averie’s younger brother Jason’s brand-new wife, they were also high school sweethearts.

The party is starting to simmer down and Rory is starting on some cleaning up, with nephew Blaine in her ear. He is definitely a talker when happy.

A perfect ending to a perfect day.

A picture with all the family to commemorate the event.

Proudly presenting:
the new Mr. & Mrs. Cameron times two.

    1. And I wanted to add, the quote at the beginning … I wonder if that would also apply to Blaine and Bristol. His heart is still tangled up with Scarlett. He can def live with Bristol, but can he live without Scarlett? He’s clearly trying. Maybe he can. I wish him happiness one way or the other. And Bristol too, because it’s not fair to her to only get a piece of a Blaine.
